The MSI GT62VR Dominator Pro-238 is a bestselling 2017 gaming laptop from MSI that has been praised for its VR support, G-SYNC display, fast seventh generation Intel processor, dedicated 10-series NVIDIA graphics and for its aggressive gaming looks. However, the 256GB SSD is slightly too small for newer games such as Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2. Luckily, you can easily upgrade to a larger M.2 solid state drive that will offer far more storage space for those larger games. While it is designed to be portable, the battery life is poor, which is no surprise with the powerful hardware.

In line with the notebook launch of Nvidia's Pascal architecture, MSI announces a new high-end system based on the GeForce GTX 1070. The performance of the GT62VR is not only supposed to beat devices with the GTX 970M, but also notebooks equipped with the GTX 980M by quite a margin. Our review will find out if that is the case.
