The MSI GL62M 7REX-1896US 15.6-inch gaming laptop has received positive reviews for its crisp 1920 x 1080 IPS non-reflective display, thin and portable design, fast Intel i7-7700HQ processor and decent 8GB of RAM (which can be upgraded to 32GB), and its SSD and HDD combination. However, while the GeForce GTX 1050Ti is an update graphics card, it is mid-tier, so modern day AAA titles will take a slight hit in terms of graphics performance. Furthermore, the GPU does not support VR. Lastly, the HDD is a 5400RPM hard drive, which is slow. The MSI GL62M 7REX-1896US 15.6-inch will run most modern games on medium to high settings pretty easily, and it does have a decent amount of processing power, but if you are looking for a VR-ready machine, then this is not the one.
