The MSI GL62M 7RE-407 is a bestselling MSI gaming laptop that has been praised for its NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti graphics card, seventh generation Intel i5 processor, vivid Full-HD display and for its Cooler Boost 4 cooling system. However, the MSI GL62M 7RE-407 only features a small 256GB SSD which will fill up extremely quickly. You can install a SATA-based SSD or a large 7200rpm HDD, however the MSI GL62M 7RE-407 does not feature a maintenance cover and requires a bit more time and knowhow. The MSI GL62M 7RE-407 also doesn’t feature an optical drive, which isn’t the end of the world as quite a few gamers opt for digital copies these days. If you do have some older games on disc, then you will need to look at purchasing an external optical drive which are fairly cheap these days.

You will get a well-equipped 15.6-inch notebook for this price. Its main weaknesses are the display, the battery runtimes and the automatic fan control. MSI should at least improve the latter.
