The MSI GL62M 7RDX-1408 15.6-inch laptop has received positive reviews for its great performance, SteelSeries red backlit keyboard, its aesthetically pleasing and simple case design, excellent starting price, Full-HD IPS display, and its upgradable RAM and free M.2 slot. Its temperatures are also said to remain low during heavy gaming sessions. Some criticism was directed towards its lack of USB 3.1 Gen2 support. Some also thought that the speaker quality is poor and the battery doesn’t last more than 4 hours when it comes to running basic tasks or web browsing. Lastly, while the solid state and hard drive combination is great, the hard drive is slow, and boot and gaming loading times will be long.
