The MSI GE63VR Raider-075 15.6-inch gaming laptop has received positive reviews for its compact and lightweight design, powerful hardware suitable running most modern games on high to ultra settings with general ease, including an Intel i7-7700HQ, an NVIDIA GTX 1070 and 16GB of DDR4 RAM, as well as a fast solid state drive. Its keyboard also received excellent reviews from most users and most buyers were also impressed with it’s sturdy construction. Most liked the screen’s color accuracy and its 120Hz response times, but it for a high-end laptop it only features a TN panel display, meaning the viewing angles aren’t the best and color reproduction may suffer. Some users also complained about a lack of G-Sync support as well as poor battery life and a relatively small 128GB SSD.

What, a TN panel in an $1800 gaming notebook? Yes, MSI has done it again and prioritized 120-Hz and quick response times. If you can work with this, you will probably be happy to overlook the few problems this otherwise well-made notebook has. Only one of MSI's decisions is rather questionable.
