The HP Chromebook 13 G1 W0S99UT is a bestselling premium Chromebook that has been praised for its brilliant high resolution display, elegant and ultra-thin design, increased storage drive size and for its more powerful processor. However, the higher resolution display does drain the battery far quicker than its cheaper counterparts. You also don’t get an HDMI port and instead you will need to use the USB 3.1 Type-C port with an adapter to connect this Chromebook to a second display or to your TV.

  • Quad-HD display
  • USB 3.1 Type-C ports
  • Thin and light
  • Good keyboard
  • Backlit keyboard

  • Lower battery life
  • Limited applications
  • Only one full USB port
  • No HDMI port
  • Higher price

Bottom Line

The HP Chromebook 13 G1 W0S99UT is a premium Chromebook which offers a Quad-HD display and more powerful hardware. However, the brilliant display will drain the battery quicker and there is no HDMI port anywhere to be seen.

Clean, business-casual design. Solid battery life. Good keyboard, good speakers, good performance. It can be your only computer, because Chrome OS is so much more than a browser.
