The HP 15-r063nr is a bestselling 2014 15-inch touchscreen laptop that received positive reviews for its large touchscreen, slick construction, a fast Quad-Core processor and a long battery life. However, the system memory of 4GB is not expandable, there is no Bluetooth and the integrated Intel Graphics isn’t capable of gaming or complex video editing. Overall the 15-r063nr is an affordable and reliable touchscreen laptop for everyday computing.

The HP 15-r063nr is among the few budget laptops to fit a touchscreen into a 15.6-inch display. It doesn’t look bad with its smooth black cover and glossy surface around the well-spaced keyboard and even includes a dedicated numeric keypad.

The build is sturdy and well designed even though it is simply plastic. Most of its internal features are standard like 4GB RAM, 500GB hard drive, DVD-burner and the usual set of ports such as HDMI, USB 3.0 and digital media card reader.

At its core is the fairly quick Pentium N3530 Quad-Core which loses out to the Intel Core i5 class processors but performs almost on the same level as an Intel Core i3 4010u and it easily bests its Intel Atom powered competitors.

It should have no problem running office applications, Photoshop, playing multimedia files and even some low-level multitasking. This not a laptop for avid gamers but casual gamers can enjoy older titles as well as some recent, less graphically demanding games.
