Bottom Line

A great 2-in-1 laptop that has powerful hardware, a great Full-HD touchscreen display and comes preinstalled with Windows 10 Pro.

The Acer Aspire R7-372T-758Q is a bestselling 2-in-1 laptop that offers a sleek design and powerful hardware. Powered by a 6th generation ultra low voltage Intel Core i7 processor which is backed by 8GB of RAM and features a 256GB solid state drive, the Acer Aspire R7-372T-758Q will cope will everyday tasks with ease. The integrated graphics are not designed for gaming, but will handle older titles on medium to high settings. The hinge design that allows it to transform from a traditional laptop to a tablet is a bit different, but is surprisingly durable despite its unconventional mechanism. It comes preinstalled with Windows 10 Pro, making it perfect for work and for users who need access to all of the Windows 10 features.

Acer’s latest hybrid is a new twist on the vertical flipping screen type of device that we first saw with the Dell Inspiron Duo. A largely neglected format, instead of a central pivot point like on hybrids of old, or a 360 degree screen hinge like on the Lenovo Yoga the display instead is mounted on two arms and spins about its mid point.

The Aspire R13's main distinguishing factor is the quad-hinge design, which allows for several different display positions and hence operating modes. Even sans those hinges, the Aspire would still appeal, as it does well in almost all categories. Along with an update to the Skylake-generation of processors, the new model now also contains a Thunderbolt 3 port.
